Hold your shears by the thumb ring with the point at 12:00 o’clock. Open the other blade by the finger ring until the pint at 9:00 o’clock. Let finger ring blade free fall. 1. If your shears have a regular screw the blade musy top at 11:00 o’clock when released. 2. If your shears have a hand adjustable tention system that clicks when it is turned; or a rubber base nuder the knob; the blade should stay at the 9:00 o’clock position when released. Same position as the shears in picture B. 3. f your shears have any other type of hand adjustable tention system the finger ring blade should stop ap the 10:00 o’clock position.
